Absolutely! Cleaners working with MaidForYou stay on average over 3 years. We assign the same cleaning team for weekly, fortnightly and monthly bookings (where possible). If your regular cleaning team is not available, we will let you know ahead of time.

For regular and maintenance cleans, we generally estimate that it should take 1 labor hour per bedroom. That means, if you have a 3-bedroom house, it may take one and a half to 2 hours of clean.

A team of 2 people is our standard, sometimes an extra team member can come when needed. However, we send a team of 1 person when the job is small (Studio/1BR/Touch-up jobs). This will be mentioned to you prior to your cleaning.

Absolutely! We obtain a tonne of clients through word of mouth. If the person who referred you used a specific cleaner, we can amend their schedule so they'll be able to clean your home.

We generally don't clean items that are of high risk of breakage or present a biohazard to our cleaning crew. At MaidForYou we don't clean the following:

• Toys or trinkets
• Ceiling
• Chandeliers
• Human or animal waste
• Extensive dish washing

Unfortunately, we do not provide regular one-hour only cleans at this point in time.

After conducting extensive staff surveys we have found that our cleaning teams prefer not to complete work where they have to travel long distances to work only for one hour and as such we have made a decision to no longer provide regular one hour only cleaning services.

Our minimum booking for a regular hourly service is 90 minutes.

We bring all equipment and chemicals, so you don’t need to provide anything for us to complete the regular cleaning of your home.

For our regular cleaning clients that aren’t home, we usually request a key or a key is placed in a lock box within the property. We don’t recommend leaving doors or windows open for our cleaning teams to access your property.

You sure can, for these type of adhoc customized services, we highly recommend our clients book an hourly regular cleaning and then send us a checklist with their specific requirements.

Ideally you cancel or reschedule through our online portal, we offer free rescheduling within 24 hours of appointments.

All of our regular cleaning services come with frequency discounts. You’ll get 15% off if you book a weekly clean, 10% for a fortnightly clean and 5% for a monthly recurring cleaning service.

All cleaners working with MaidForYou have been thoroughly vetted for quality and assurance purposes. We have extensive background and police checks for all cleaners working within your home. Should something out of the ordinary occur, we have processes in place to investigate

We recommend large dogs, or other pets be secured prior to our team’s arrival at your property. Cats and other small pets are usually fine, however, do let us know before your regular clean starts as some of our professional cleaners are allergic to cat hair. 

For hardwood floors, and sensitive natural stone surfaces made from granite, slate or marble we only use PH neutral cleaning products and fresh cloths. This prevents damages and micro abrasions in the finish of your sensitive surfaces.

We have cleaning teams available most public holidays. We contact our regular clients two to three weeks before major public holidays to see if they’d like to keep their scheduled clean or reschedule to a later date.

We only need 24 hours notice to find and fit you with a suitable cleaning team for your cleaning requirements.
