We'd highly recommend waiting at least 3-4 hours before stepping on flooring that has been resealed and 30 minutes before stepping on tiles and grout that have just been professionally cleaned.
Unfortunately, we are unable to move heavy furniture. We highly recommend having any excessively heavy furniture moved prior to the arrival of your tile and grout cleaning technician.
At the very minimum, we estimate that it can take as little as 1 and a half hours as the shortest service time and for larger houses, it can take well over 3-4 hours. We'll need to add more time if our professionals are required to engage in sealing your tiles.
We charge per square meter with a minimum charge, we will be able to communicate the exact price to you upon booking. Once your service is booked we will contact you with an exact date and time. The day prior we will place a hold on your card for services rendered and charge your card on the day of the clean.
Natural stone tiles made from slate, granite or marble require special attention. Our professional tile cleaners are equipped with industry know-how and the best technique to have your natural stone tiles looking as good as new without the need for expensive sealing and resurfacing.
To clean really dirty tiles yourself, you'll need a grout cleaning kit (including a grout pen), mop, microfibre cloths and bristled scrubbing brush and proper personal protective equipment.
The first step is to clean your tile and grout with your microfibre cloth to remove any built-up dirt stains.
After you've done that, put on your PPE (ventilation mask, gloves, and goggles) and spray your grout cleaner onto the grout. Make sure to allow at least 10 minutes to work its magic.
Then use your hard-bristled brush to scrub in between your tiles, focusing on the grout lines.
Use a grout pen to touch up grout lines where you haven't been able to fully restore to close to new.
If your tile and grout need to be resealed or you have expensive natural stone tiles, it's best to leave this to the professionals.
We're able to touch up, seal and thoroughly clean most natural stone tiles and have them looking as close to new.
Depending on what type of tile you have, sealing tile after they have been cleaned is a standard part of our tile cleaning process.
Tile sealing will ensure that your tiles stay cleaner for longer and will improve their durability, look and feel. This means less staining, less regular maintenance and less of a need to continually wash your tiles.
Tile sealing is done to improve the durability of tiles, prevent damages and allow for easy day-to-day maintenance.
However, it's not necessary for all types of tiles to be sealed. Natural stone tiles (made from slate, granite, marble, travertine, or terracotta) are porous and need a sealant to protect them from wear and tear over time. Whereas porcelain or ceramic tiles generally don't need to be sealed.
Sealing your grout will protect it and the surrounding tiles from water damage, mould and moisture build up over time. You may find that your grout has not been sealed since it's initial installation, and that's where our professional grout cleaning service will come in handy.
Yes we can. All you need to do is provide us with pictures and/or the necessary details of the area via our online booking form, or over the phone with one of our customer service representatives, and we will give you a final quote for the tile and grout cleaning service.
Any type of grout repair work requires a separate process that we do not offer. We only provide grout and tile cleaning at this time.
This will largely depend on the current level of soiling and damage to the grout. We use a highly effective method to extract dirt and stains from grout lines, and typically achieve complete restoration of the original colour.
Our experts recommend professional tile and grout cleaning at least once a year to keep the floor in tiptop condition.
Yes, we clean indoor and outdoor tiled floors using dedicated methods and high-quality cleaning equipment.
