To clean really dirty tiles yourself, you'll need a grout cleaning kit (including a grout pen), mop, microfibre cloths and bristled scrubbing brush and proper personal protective equipment.
The first step is to clean your tile and grout with your microfibre cloth to remove any built-up dirt stains.
After you've done that, put on your PPE (ventilation mask, gloves, and goggles) and spray your grout cleaner onto the grout. Make sure to allow at least 10 minutes to work its magic.
Then use your hard-bristled brush to scrub in between your tiles, focusing on the grout lines.
Use a grout pen to touch up grout lines where you haven't been able to fully restore to close to new.
If your tile and grout need to be resealed or you have expensive natural stone tiles, it's best to leave this to the professionals.
We're able to touch up, seal and thoroughly clean most natural stone tiles and have them looking as close to new.
