Do you offer a bond back guarantee?

All end-of-tenancy cleans that we conduct come with a bond-back guarantee. That means if for any reason specific areas within our scope are missed, we will come back and re-clean them free of charge.

If needed, we are happy to come back after this time period, however, we cannot accept requests for a free re-clean beyond 7 days.

How much do you charge?

The cost of your end of lease clean generally depends on the size of your property. We charge in accordance with the number of bedrooms and bathrooms in your home.

For extra services that are not included in the general scope of our standard bond clean, additional charges are applicable. These include carpet steam cleaning, exterior windows, extra balconies, full wall washing, and extra blinds.

If the property requires a more thorough cleaning, we may reserve the right to charge extra, this will be communicated to you before we start cleaning. Our end of lease clean starts at $390 for a one-bedroom or studio apartment and increases incrementally. All prices are inclusive of GST and our bond back guarantee. Around 97% of our end of lease cleans pass the agent’s inspection without a re-clean being requested.

Am I required to be home during the service?

No, absolutely not. All we require is a way to access the property. If your agent is close by, our teams are more than happy to pick up the key, let themselves in, and complete the work.

Do you have any service exclusions?

Generally, we don’t provide the following services as part of our cleaning packages:

Extensive mould removal
Patching or repairing damaged walls
Thorough ceiling cleaning
Fixing or cleaning inside light fittings
Cleaning chandeliers or other delicate, easy-to-damage fixtures
Changing light bulbs
Damaged carpet restoration
Repairing damaged grout or restoring excessively dark grout to white
Repairing damaged stone countertops or removing blemishes caused by improper chemical use
Commercial cleaning of heavily soiled kitchen appliances, including stoves, large range hoods, and ventilation systems

Are you insured?

Yes, we are! If you’d like to see proof of insurance, simply email us at info@maidforyou.com.au, and we will send you the documentation.

My house still has furniture, is that okay?

At MaidForYou, we aim to provide the best end of lease cleaning possible. For our cleaners to do this, we require the property to be empty, as furniture and other removable fixtures can prevent us from thoroughly cleaning walls, and floors. We also need to make sure that there is power and running water.

If for any reason you think the above conditions may not be possible, let us know in advance (via phone or email) and we will be more than happy to make alternative arrangements.

My agent has a specific checklist, are you able to help?

Yes, we’d love to. If your agent’s checklist contains work that is outside of our scope, we will amend the service provisions as much as possible to match your requirements. Generally, if there is extra work to be done, we may charge a per-task fee.

I only need a partial end of lease clean, how can I book it?

Unfortunately, we do not provide partial end of lease cleans. The reason is that real estate agents will do an inspection to make sure the property is up to scratch before releasing your bond. They most definitely won’t pass a bond clean that has been partially completed.

Does your spot wall cleaning include all dirty spots?

Generally, no, our spot wall cleaning isn’t suitable for extensive scuff marks, or dirt on all walls. If the walls in your property have lots of scuff marks, you will need to book full wall washing. If you’re looking to obtain your bond back, your real estate agent will definitely be wanting all the marks removed from your walls.

Our spot wall cleaning includes only a handful of high-touch areas like light switches, and power points.

Does your balcony cleaning include pressure washing?

Our balcony cleaning service does not include the use of high pressure cleaning equipment. It entails a sweep, scrub and spot removal of stains without a pressure washer.

Rust, paint, acid stains which cause discolouration or etch into tiles generally do not come off even with a pressure washer. Therefore, this is not covered in our bond back guarantee.

If you’re unsure if your balcony requires pressure washing, send us an email and we’ll tell you if a standard method will suffice, or if pressure washing is required.

How soon can you complete my end of lease clean?

Depending on availability, we can provide same-day end of lease cleaning. Otherwise, we typically offer next-day end of lease cleans as standard.

What if my agent rejects the clean?

If for any reason your agent is unhappy with the clean, we will come back free of charge to fix any areas deemed unsatisfactory within 48 hours. If your agent is unable to let us re-attend, we will issue a partial refund for the total cost of having the work redone by your agent’s cleaner. We always go out of our way to make sure our client is never out of pocket for cleaning services already paid for.
